What We Do

Become part of a growing community of youth groups, practitioners and leaders working together to strengthen youth provision across the UK.

We’re building something new - and we’re building it with local leaders, not for them.

YouthWorks UK is in its early stages. We’re not rolling out a polished national model. We’re not arriving with all the answers.

We’re starting with a simple belief:

Locally led youth clubs deserve the same level of support, infrastructure and investment as any national organisation.

We’re beginning a journey to develop that infrastructure – but we’re doing it slowly, openly and in partnership with the people who know their communities best.

The direction we’re heading:

We want to understand what makes locally led youth clubs thrive. We want to learn what support actually makes a difference – and what doesn’t. And we want to co-create practical, meaningful tools that help leaders:

Strengthen their physical spaces

Improve and develop their youth work offer

Feel confident and capable in their leadership

Secure the long-term resources they need

Stay connected rather than isolated

We’re starting small, on purpose.

This phase is about experimenting, listening, piloting, and adapting. Nothing is set in stone. Everything is open to shaping.

What we promise to do

Our Commitment

We will always:

We’re not trying to build a national system over local youth clubs – we’re trying to build a national movement around them.

This is the beginning. We’re shaping the model with the very people it’s meant to serve.

Let’s explore this together
